There's a few different package options with AT&T. I'll preface everything by saying you'll get a $10/month discount for setting up autopay and paperless billing with a bank account. So these prices I'm going to go over are already with that $10 discount applied.

If you need any examples, we typically recommend the 1 Gig speed. If you do any kind of work from home, gaming, use a lot of devices at once, or stream a lot of content — all of that works really well with the 1 Gig speed. It's typically the best value because the price difference from 1 Gig to 2 Gig is significant — about $50. Whereas going from 500 to 1,000 Mbps, you're doubling the speed for only a $15 difference. And the promotions right now make it even cheaper. So we typically recommend that just because it tends to be the best value. And also, the 2,000 and 5,000 speeds are typically more than most people need.

Okay, I just want to confirm — you set up your AT&T already? ⏸ Pause Okay, I just want to make sure it's AT&T that you set up, because that's what the building is wired for. ⏸ Pause If they have a different provider — "Okay, no problem. I just want to make sure that it's something that's compatible there. Because the building is wired for AT&T, there's no installation costs and no equipment fees. It's also going to be the best quality internet — the fastest and most reliable, and also the best value for the price point. So I just want to make sure the internet you're transferring is something you'd rather have instead, because you may want to check with your leasing office to make sure it's compatible. That's no problem though — if you'd like, I can go ahead and just go over the different package options with you and the different promotions that are available right now."

05Objection — "That's Too Expensive"

Customer says: "That's too expensive" or "I was only paying $20/mo before"

No problem. It is fiber internet, so it's going to be a much higher quality and much more reliable internet — much faster as well than likely what you had before. So that's typically why it's going to be a little bit more than cheaper internet, like hotspots and things like that. It is what the building is wired for, so again, there's no installation cost and no equipment fees. So for the type of internet you're getting, it's definitely going to be a much better value — but it's totally up to you. If you want to use the internet you currently have, you can check with your leasing office and see if it's compatible there. If you let me know what internet you had, I can also check and see if I'm able to see it on my end. I will let you know also that right now, if you're just going for price and you're not really as concerned about higher speeds, the base package — which is still going to be very fast — is only $35 a month. And then plus the $150 gift card on top of it is almost like getting four months free.

Okay, so a few different package options for Spectrum. Let me go ahead and go over them.

The first two speeds don't include a router — which you would need in order to have Wi-Fi. So unless you already have your own router, it would be $10 more per month for each of them, bringing them to $50 and $60. So the middle speed actually ends up being the same price as the highest speed. The 1 Gig actually ends up being by far the best option — the router is already included, it's the fastest, it can handle the most devices, and it's double the speed and the bandwidth. It's simply why we recommend it and also why it's our most popular.

It's a very safe option — there's no minimum usage requirements, and it's a fixed rate plan, so you don't have to worry about the rate fluctuating at all.

Okay, so for a three bedroom — this is going to be through our partner company, Ambit Energy. We definitely would recommend what is called their Budget Relief Plan. It's a plan where you'll get a $50 discount off your bill any time you use over 1,000 kilowatts — which should be every month, or most months, if you're in a three bedroom. So it can really help you save a lot of money.

Okay, no problem. I just want to make sure — is this a plan you already had, or a plan that you saw online? ⏸ Pause Just because a lot of times, those plans look better than they actually are. Once you read the fine print, usually those cheaper rates cycle around the 9-cent energy charge rate — but that's only if you're already using a certain amount of electricity. This link is specifically tied to your address, so just make sure you use this link when you do set it up. Just the only thing to note is make sure you choose a liability amount that is required by your property. Most properties require one hundred thousand dollars of liability, but the quote should be able to be as low as five to ten dollars a month if you're choosing just the basic requirements. And then the second thing to take note of — once you've completed your coverage setup, it will give you a recommended quote. You can go back in and choose "customized quote" to lower the recommended coverage amounts so that you have the lowest monthly payment possible.
